OverviewThe Corporate Payroll Director will play an integral role
in the customer service and organizational strength of our company.
They will be responsible for managing a team of payroll specialists
to ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures,
applicable laws and regulations for multi-states.What Cogir has to

more!Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOversees day-to-day
payroll processing to ensure all payroll tasks are completed
accurately and promptly.Serving as a point of contact for
payroll-related questions, issues, and concerns.Collaborates with
HR and Finance departments to ensure information is integrated as
expected into the payroll system.Generates internal and external
reports and ensures reporting requirements are met.Performs audits
of employee earnings and deductions to identify or resolve any
discrepancies or errors.Answers employee inquiries regarding
payroll, tax withholdings, and deductions.Audis paid time off
accrual balances, based on Company policy or union
requirements.Assists with year-end payroll activities, including
W-2 processing and tax reporting.Provides recommendations and
implements process improvement steps to enhance payroll efficiency
and accuracy.Carries out supervisory responsibilities following the
organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities
include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning,
assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding
and recommending disciplining when necessary if set goals are not
met.Qualifications and Skills:Education: A Bachelor's degree in a
relevant field is required.A minimum of 7-10 years of Payroll
experience is required, and the ability to work in a fast-paced,
high-volume environment.CPP certification preferred.Advanced Excel
Skills including working knowledge of V-lookups and Pivot
Tables.Must be proficient in using payroll software, and ideally
have experience with multiple payroll systems including
implementation.Experience with Paylocity is a plus. Experience with
time and attendance software.Must possess a strong understanding of
payroll procedures and payroll tax regulations, including work with
multi-state payrolls.Supervisory experience is a plus.Experience
working in senior housing, healthcare, or related industries,
including multi-location companies, is a plus.An energetic and
highly motivated person with the ability to learn and work
independently and collaboratively.Strong work ethic and ability to
support multiple projects in parallel and prioritize competing
demands under the pressure of time-sensitive deadlines.Excellent
interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.Physical
SettingThis role is in-person out of our Scottsdale office, Monday
to Friday, and may require minimal travel responsibility.Apply and
