About The Position
The Water Services Worker IV leads a crew that performs skilled
work in the installation, maintenance, and repair of water lines in
the water distribution system and occasionally sewer lines in the
collection system.

PLEASE NOTE:
Years of experience are based on a work schedule of 2,080 hours per
year for full-time positions and 1,040 hours per year for part-time
positions, and while work experience may substitute for education
on a year-for-year basis, depending upon the job classification,

Education and Experience
The Scottsdale Water Resources Division offers an Operator
Certification Incentive Program up to $750.00 per certification for
those employees who obtain certifications above what is required of
their positions. The department recognizes the intrinsic value of
operator certifications and the added value to the city of having a
workforce that possess them.

This position requires a High School diploma or General Educational

Department of Environmental Quality within the discipline of Water
