Lead ControllerFull-Time, ExemptSalary: -Competitive salary+
Options -Location: This position requires the selected candidate to
reside in the Scottsdale, AZ -area, hybrid.The Lead Controller will
be a key financial partner for the management team of Lumifi. This
new role will be working with the CEO to help build and transform
the finance function, with ownership of the investor data and
shared information. -This role will also be a key strategic partner
with the Executive team of the privately-held company to scale
growth and execute strategic initiatives. Key responsibilities will
include leading the company's financial planning, forecasting and
analysis processes, leading the company's long-range planning and
budgeting cycle, cash flow forecasting, performing business
intelligence and preparing management reporting, managing the
effective use of finance systems and data management, delivering
value-added business analyses, as well as, defining and reporting
meaningful financial and operational metrics that lead to
insightful, accurate business decision-making. You'll own FP&A,
accounting, and financial operations. Ultimately, your work will
enhance our internal decision-making, particularly as it relates to
resource allocation. This position is based out of our Scottsdale,
AZ office, hybrid.Primary Duties:FP&A
Lead, review, and manage the annual
budgeting and forecasting cycle, long-range strategic plan, provide
periodic business analysis and provide financial support for
strategic initiativesReview, guide, manage and approve forecasts,
monthly performance reviews, periodic business reviews, annual
budgetsDesign and implement financial planning systems, modeling
scenarios, variances and dashboardsMonitor the profitability of
product lines and assist in determining the appropriate allocation
of resources to growth initiatives.Create effective performance
metrics to drive accountability and ownership within the
organizationTreasury
Responsible for cash flow forecasting
and managementManage liquidity and working capitalManage banking
relationships and wire transfersFinancial analyses and Management
Reporting
Lead the preparation of financial
analysis, commentary and presentation materials for executives,
board meetings, and other third partiesProvide support to the
senior management team with respect to strategic / financial
decisions through timely and accurate analyses, including sales and
margin performanceAdvise and set financial targets to divisional
operation managementChallenge divisions on setting / achieving the
financial targetsAssist divisional finance personnel in adopting
best practicesEnsure consistent assumptions, business metrics and
KPI's leveraged across all business unitsStructure, manage and
coordinate complex cross-company projects with key
stakeholdersRequired Skills and Experience- must have - worked in
technology or SAAS industry
6+ years of experience in a finance
role (FP&A) with experience building new systems from scratch
-within the tech or SAAS industry4+ years of
progressive/transformative financial planning and analysis and
related corporate finance planning management within the tech or
SAAS industryBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA
preferred.Proficiency with Enterprise Financial Management Systems
(NetSuite experienced preferred) and CRM Systems
(Salesforce)Experience with the development and maintenance of
financial performance management dashboards and KPIsThorough
knowledge of AR and AP processes; preferably experience in working
with and / or developing automated AP / AR processesBenefits
