This position will report directly to a Senior Tax Accountant, and will support provision, direct and indirect tax compliance, as well as tax planning.Responsibilities---Preparation of year-end tax estimates for financial statement and external stakeholder purposes.---Preparation of federal, state, and informational returns prepared in-house.---Preparation of year-end tax provision and Income Taxes footnote.---Preparation & filing of business property tax listings.---Review of organizational and operating documents for new and existing projects.---Ad Hoc research of tax technical issues/deadlines/stakeholder questions.---Periodic taxable income projection and modeling.QualificationsThe ideal Staff Tax Accountant will have:---Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required, Master's in Taxation or Accountancy is a plus.---0-2 years of tax experience with a focus on federal and state partnership returns.---Proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint is required.---Oracle NetSuite and/or Corptax experience is a plus.---Desire to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain positive attitude, and be challenged every day.---Ability to communicate in a professional manner (verbal/written) with internal and external stakeholders.Contact InformationIf you feel your background and experience meets the job requirements above, we'd love to hear from you.
