This is a permanent position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in the Senior Accountant role, with a strong background in Real Estate and Property Management.Responsibilities:Manage the month-end close process, including journal entries and general ledger account reconciliationsPrepare and analyze financial statements for multiple properties, ensuring accuracy and completenessMonitor and analyze property budgets, forecasts, and variances, providing recommendations for improvementCollaborate with property managers and other departments to ensure compliance with accounting policies and proceduresAssist with the preparation of annual budgets and reforecastsProvide support to external auditors during year-end auditsIdentify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in accounting operationsProvide guidance and mentorship to junior staff membersQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related fieldCPA or equivalent certification preferredMinimum of 3+ years of experience in the General Ledger Accounting roleStrong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principlesExperience in Real Estate and Property Management industries is a plus, but not requiredExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting softwareIf you are a self-starter with a passion for accounting and a desire to work in the Real Estate industry, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
