Job Description The Senior Commercial Business Development Officer
(BDO) is responsible for the direct sales of financial products to
businesses (generally $20MM to $1B) and, in certain circumstances,
individuals. Primary focus is to source new loan, deposit, treasury
management and other fee based business. The Senior Commercial BDO
sources new business via disciplined calling efforts on prospects,
active networking, consistent review of local news sources, and
maintenance of good working relationships with internal and
external contacts in their market. Works closely with team members
to ensure timely and consistent responses on all identified
opportunities. Responsible for generating and maintaining a
prospect list that will be actively managed in the bank’s CRM
system, and is responsible for keeping track of opportunities
sourced as a result of their efforts. Works with the Commercial
Banking Manager(s) and Market Leadership to align Business
Development efforts with market goals and initiatives. Team Culture

Commercial Banking Manager(s) and Market Leadership to align

You’ll participate in community and professional activities to
enhance our image and expand your network of business contacts for
development of new business. Education & Experience Requirements
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of
a Bachelor’s Degree in business and 10 successful years in business
development or at least 16 years experience in a related field.
