Ready to join the PXG team? We are seeking a VP of Apparel Sales and Marketing to support our product strategy and execution in the next phase of growth for our apparel and accessories division. This leader will be required to align with the apparel team on strategy and manage these strategies with the sales and marketing divisions. The right individual is an experienced, motivated, and analytical leader with a deep understanding of the market landscape, consumer behaviors, and product life cycle knowledge. - Responsibilities: -

  • Collaborating with the VP of Apparel, act as the strategic leader for PXG apparel and accessories, and take accountability for growing that aspect of the business in the sales and marketing channels
  • Develop product market strategy roadmap, analysis, and team management to facilitate product-led growth to achieve KPIs for press, ad buys, influencer, social, and various marketing channels.
  • Oversee the approved apparel & accessories product strategy, analysis, and team management to facilitate product-led growth with the sales and marketing channels
  • Working with the Director of Categories and Insights, measure product performance and create sustainable solutions
  • Ensure the product is constantly moving from awareness to adoption in new market segments
  • Aligns product features and activities with the overall objectives and goals of the company
  • Collaborates with the apparel team as well as other cross-functional teams, communicating goals clearly, improving vision, outcome, and ensuring timely distribution of deliverables
  • Working with the Production Director and Category & Insights Director will formulate optimal pricing strategies and models
  • -Lead the sales and marketing channels by proposing product education approaches, product solution creation, and execution of competitive counter-tactics. Enables the achievement of the product's market share targets
  • Determine best practices for positioning products to target consumers and developing appropriate messaging.
  • Develops product messaging that is fitting to the consumers' current mindset and maximizes the strengths of every marketing and communication channel in the process in order to raise product awareness in the market
  • Ability to craft product messaging that resonates and connects with the diverse demographics of the business's consumers as well as for the stakeholders
  • Conduct competitive analysis and determine product differentiation for the best product positioning in the market
  • Understand intimately the details and nuances of PXG product's market, buyer personas, ideal customer profiles, and able to deliver the business results in terms of sales.
  • Forecast, plan, and follow up on distribution channels, sales, marketing, and performance results to meet business demands.
  • Responsible for follow-through and obtaining results for executive final reports, analyses, and findings that are presented to critical stakeholders, and external partners after analysis of compiled data Experience and Education Required:
    • BA/BS degree or preferably master's degree, in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Information Technology
    • 10+ years experience in related field
    • Must have a strong digital / eCommerce background
    • Solid ability to manage budget
    • Ability to develop and successfully execute campaigns
    • Apparel and Golf industry experience or knowledge preferred Skills Required:
      • Experienced people leader who has built, developed, and retained high performing teams
      • Compelling storyteller with a strong strategic and analytical mindset, and eager to own outcomes end-to-end, continually refining and delivering the company's narrative
      • A high degree of creativity, independence, self-motivation, and drive
      • Robust ability to present complex material both to technical teams as well as to consumers in a way that relates to each audience
      • Well-developed time management, organizational, and follow-through skills
      • Expert level experience in marketing internet advertising products and an understanding of data-driven, programmatic marketing strategies and tactics
      • Passion for engaging with customers and prospects
      • Flexibility and ability to adapt to change in a highly dynamic work environment Working Conditions: - This position primarily works onsite in an office environment. Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time.
