Job Description Job Description Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Concrete Estimator based in Phoenix, AZ. The Concrete Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate project estimates by analyzing construction plans, specifications, and related documents. Daily tasks include performing quantity takeoffs, preparing cost estimates, collaborating with project teams, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry pricing and trends. The role also involves building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and contractors to compile competitive bids. Qualifications: Strong analytical and quantitative skills for performing accurate estimates and takeoffs Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, construction plans, and specifications Familiarity with construction estimating software and tools Excellent communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with project teams and stakeholders Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Knowledge of masonry and concrete industry practices, materials, and techniques Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (preferred) Previous experience in construction estimating or a similar role is highly advantageous The Edge estimating software
