Advanced Engineering Technician Job ID # 2020-11132 Contract Opportunity Location: Scottsdale, AZ Industry: Aerospace & Defense Clearance Requirement: Secret Minimum Education: Associate's degree Minimum Experience: 3 years What You'll Do: * Support engineering activities such as design, test, check-out, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electromechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, laser/light transmission devices or specialized test equipment.* Interpret basic engineering drawings, diagrams and schematics* Construct, modify, debug, troubleshoot, calibrate, test and adjust a variety of tools, equipment and systems* Conduct, analyze and document statistically based experiments to define process parameters* Implement and document complex solutions for process improvement* Design and construct basic tooling and fixtures to accomplish unique tasks* Organize, analyze and interpret data to identify cause/effect relationships and recommend resolution/process improvement What You'll Need: * Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.* Solid knowledge and proficiency in the use of fabrication tools* Ability to fabricate complex hardware* Solid knowledge of generally accepted technical theory *U.S. Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract. Education & Experience: * Associate's degree combined with 3 years of relevant experience.
