a large defense contractor, has an immediate opening for a Senior
Engineering Technician to work from their Scottsdale, AZ facility.
As the Engineering Technician, you'll support engineering
activities such as design, test, check-out, modification,
fabrication and assembly of systems, experimental design circuitry
or specialized test equipment. This may entail performing research
and engineering laboratory functions that may include, but are not
be limited to:Layout, build, test, troubleshoot, repair and modify
electronic devices, assemblies, subsystems, and systemsConstruct,
troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, diagnose and maintain
equipment, components, devices, or systemsCalibration and alignment
checksKnowledge of RF fundamentals and test equipment such as
Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Power Meters,
Etc..Construct, modify, debug, test and adjust a variety of
equipment given appropriate drawings, parts and
instructionsImplement basic practical solutions for process
improvementConduct and document experiments under guidance of
senior technicianConstruct basis tooling and fixtures to accomplish
unique tasksOrganize data to identify cause/effect relationships
and recommends resolution/process improvementQualifications:
Associate's degree in related discipline or equivalent is required
plus a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.CLEARANCE
REQUIREMENTS:Department of Defense Secret security clearance is
preferred at time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a
Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of
hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government
security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for
access to classified information. Due to the nature of work
performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.What

While an hourly range is posted for this position, an eventual
hourly rate is determined by a comprehensive salary analysis which
considers multiple factors including but not limited to:
job-related knowledge, skills and qualifications, education and
experience as compared to others in the organization doing
substantially similar work, if applicable, and market and business
