Responsibilities: As the Senior Test Engineer, you'll develop, maintain, and update test standards for new or enhanced products. Execute testing to validate and demonstrate quality of precision and vehicle electronics products. Evaluate test requirements, based on specifications, industry standard and CNHi procedures, and internal/external requirements. Develop test plans and procedures. Carry out environmental (ENV), electromagnetic interference (EMI) and HALT testing of electrical and electronic systems and sub-systems in a laboratory environment. Design and lead fabrication of test fixtures, test control (automation), set up of peripheral equipment, and data acquisition of support electrical/electronic component, subsystems, and vehicle testing. Prepare and maintain reports of testing data. Write Root Cause Analysis reports. Evaluate and provide recommendations based on findings. Lead or contribute input for improvements. Train team members on utilization of test equipment and procedures. May assist with the request for quote process, as related to needs for the testing function. This position pays - $88,000 - $127,000 ( Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.) Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, Mechatronics engineering or similar technical field. 5 years of engineering experience. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in ENV, EMI, HALT testing and operating associated test chambers. Experience and/or familiarity with data acquisition concepts and tools is desired. Experience with vehicle communication buses such as CAN/LIN and the tools required to monitor and troubleshoot (CANalyser or similar). Experience with electrical/electronic test equipment (Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Function Generators and similar). Knowledge of manufacturing techniques is preferred.
