Job Description:

We firmly believe that the young child should receive an education that will provide him or her with the necessary foundation and enthusiasm for future learning. At Desert Sky Montessori, we foster imagination and creativity through hands on projects, experiments and exploration. We incorporate art, music, and movement into daily curriculum and provide weekly opportunities for cooking, yoga, and gardening. We provide children with the opportunity to take responsibility for themselves, their environment, and their community while simultaneously celebrating their own place in the world. At Desert Sky Montessori, we believe that childhood and early learning are a time for hands on exploration. We encourage our students to observe, question, and experiment. We integrate art into geography and science, and incorporate building and engineering into the study of cultures and civilizations. We encourage curiosity and foster within the child a sense of wonder about the world. We are currently in need of a director for our 3 thru 6 classroom. Must have AMS certificate.
