the Site Reliability & Cloud Engineering team (SCRCE) you are
motivated and passionate about solving customer problems. You are

aims toto enable a secure, scalable, & blazing fast cloud platform
that powers PayPal with awesome reliability. We're a group of

SRCE Product Team is growing rapidly as part of a customer centric
transformation within our organization and the enterprise at large.
Our team provides customer insights and synthesized feedback to our
product development lifecycle. Your unique blend of business and
technical savviness will enable you to develop a product plan for
our Reliability portfolio that will include two main areas of
focus: Performance Engineering and Change Validation. Using data to
measure and enhance our products, you will model operational
excellence leveraging PayPal's architectural standards. In your
role as a Product Manager, you will: Propose feature, define
product requirements and lead successful execution of initiatives
that enable Performant Engineering at PayPal. This includes
creating the product vision, strategy, roadmap, A/B testing, and
business case for a system that encourages focus on building
low-latency applications for our 3,000+ engineers. Collaborate with
engineering and architecture to help determine the best technical
implementation/design while balancing time-to-market needs. Partner
with cross-functional teams at PayPal and external partners to
design, build, launch, and market new payment capabilities Define
and proactively monitor key performance metrics to support and
inform product decisions. Engage in problem solving with analytics
to determine trends and root causes. Requirements:5+ years
experience with software applications, either as a Software
Engineer or QA Engineer, Product or Program Manager 2+ years
experience with teams who have implemented DevOps Experience
building, launching, and maintaining products Strong communication
skills and ability to work effectively across global teams History
of leading and executing in fast-paced, high-growth, uncertain
environments Comfortable using data and analytics to inform product
decisions Ability to lead cross-functional groups and drive action
Solid understanding of the product development lifecycle, with a
specific focus on CI/CD that involves deployments into a canary
system and production ramps Experience in writing acceptance
criteria within Epics and User Stories Preferred Qualifications:
Entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch
goals in an innovative, fast-paced and uncertain environment
Excited by interesting problems to solve, is motivated by the
opportunity to shift customer behaviors, and likes to create
clarity in a complex environment Experience in change management
and/or turnaround efforts within a large organization Experience
with latency reduction initiatives that involved infrastructure and
software modifications Experience in limiting the blast radius of
software, database, and infrastructure changes with production
