Job Description:

Lead the product management team to facilitate development of new products and supports the maintenance and management of current product offerings at CNA National in line with the corporate strategic vision. Coordinates activities with management to ensure efficient, effective, and timely service to internal and external customers. Collaborates with management and other departments to formulate and ensure adherence to compliance and operational policies and procedures.Job Requirements:Essential Duties and Responsibilities ------------------ Lead, direct and have full management accountability for staff in area of responsibility with an emphasis on talent management and succession planning in accordance with corporate strategic direction ------------------ Leads development of new products or updates to existing products and programs through active management of the product development life cycle including development of the offering, coverages, launch strategy, revenue forecasts and pricing ------------------ Champion product development and management process (e.g., Stage Gate) and drive information-based decision making on all areas impacting product. ------------------ Collaborate with other departments to develop and execute GTM plans for new product and product updates factoring in activities to secure regulatory approvals, orchestrate product launch, publish marketing materials, conduct sales training, and prepare the services organization. ------------------ Plan and execute post-launch product management capabilities including conducting post-launch audits, tracking customer satisfaction, reassessing industry movements, conducting win-loss studies and evaluating metrics and KPIs.-- Report out to necessary stakeholders on product performance. ------------------ Collaborate with sales management to prepare short-term and long-term product sales forecasts for existing products and new product recommendations ------------------ Develop strong and collaborative intra-company relationships by proactively meeting with key department leaders to keep apprised of changes/trends as well as to shape decisions ------------------ Responsible for staying up to date on trends and developments within the functional area of expertise and the industry ------------------ Oversee all Competitive Intelligence (CI) functions within existing segments; also contributing to the identification of new opportunities or segments through that process. ------------------ Own forms including form creation, updating, and management. Collaborates to drive form-related compliance activities with relevant stakeholders. ------------------ Develop, institute and execute proactive reporting for all products against established KPIs. -- Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

Leadership and management skills demonstrating integrity and professionalism. Bring together disparate functions to get work completed with complete ownership. Ability to drive results by identifying, analyzing, and resolving problems within scope of responsibility Responsible for staying up to date on trends and developments within the functional area of expertise (product management) and within the F&I space of the automotive industry Flexible and capable of prioritizing and managing competing tasks, timelines, and work streams Ability to identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in data sets Ability to collaborate and actively engage in the determination of requirements, design, and execution efforts Ability to lead without direct authority and with minimal guidance. Ability to multi-task and handle a variety of programs and projects simultaneously with excellent project management skills. Knowledge of the insurance industry, its products and services In-depth knowledge of theories and practices for auto-dealer focused product development, program management, and market research Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software --Education & Experience
Bachelor---s degree in Business Administration, Product Development/Management, or related field or--equivalent work experience
At least nine years of experience in progressive product requirements design, development and/or implementation within the vehicle service contract or insurance industry, with a minimum of five years in a leadership position --
