Our client is seeking a Product Manager to support their API products by understanding customer needs and driving adoption / implementation of the solutions. In this contract-to-hire role, you will enjoy the opportunity to make an impact through product ownership, while working in a collaborative and positive environment. Once the position converts, you will be offered a competitive compensation package that includes excellent benefits --- and unlimited PTO Ideally, this position will reside in their Phoenix area or Chicago area offices with a hybrid model, but you can work 100% remotely from the following states: AZ, CA, CO, CT, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, MA, MD, MN, MO, NE, NV, NJ, NY, NC, OH, OR, PA, TN, TX, UT, WA, or WI. What you will be doing: You will build and work with a cross-functional team to develop an understanding of customers--- requirements, solve issues and develop solutions that are innovative and customer-focused. This position will involve working with marketing, analytics, design and development teams so you can deliver products that meet market demands and customer needs by defining requirements, fine-tuning user stories and drive technical teams. What you must have: At least 7 years of experience in technical product management and a BS degree (although, additional experience can substitute). This position requires previous work experience with API / SDK / Microservices technologies, and familiarity with API ecosystems (REST, JSON, YAML, XML, Swagger). Experience in an Agile environment, and with cross-functional teams (marketing, design, development, analytics). Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills are essential in this role.
