Purpose The Director, Agile Operations is responsible for
developing and managing decentralized program execution and
fostering operational excellence. This position is responsible for
interpreting agile metrics, understanding their impact to delivery
efficacy, as well as developing and implementing strategies to
overcome deficits. The Director, Agile Operations defines best
practices and seeks continuous improvement to coach the
organization with scaled agile - through the development of tools
and techniques to support operations. Essential Functions Fosters a
culture of operational excellence focused on continually improving
efficiency, practices, and results to optimize business performance
Stays abreast of industry best practices and leading-edge
delivery/agile techniques and applies appropriately to EWS.
Provides effective people (direct and/or matrixed) leadership and
coaching, driving the maturation of Portfolio Operations -
processes, systems and tools Establishes quantitative and
qualitative metrics, guidelines, and standards by which the
company's efficiency can be evaluated internally and outside of
Enterprise Business Agility (EBA); identifies opportunities for
improvement. Effectively and consistently communicates operational
performance goals and provides updates to all relevant business
partners Develops and implements operational processes, including
outlining timelines, defining inputs required from multiple
stakeholders, and supporting internal approval processes .
Identifies gaps, issues and roadblocks in advance of production
milestones and troubleshoots to continuously improve our ways of
working" Oversees tools used by portfolio teams (such as Planview,
LeanKit, Jira, etc.) Owns activities around ensuring tools and
techniques are implemented to help decision-makers with portfolio
prioritization (ex. impact versus effort, go/no-go decisions, etc.)
Leads the coordination and integration of agile efforts among
operations, technology and customer service business lines to
produce smoother workflow and cost-effective business processes.
Ensures the continuous adherence to compliance while minimizing
overhead. Support the company's commitment to risk management and
protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data
Minimum Qualifications Education and experience typically obtained
through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Business Management,
Computer Science, or related field or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 12 years of experience in Program or Portfolio
Management roles, in an Agile environment Excels in systems
thinking and critical thinking Understanding of Agile principles
and how they are applied in workplace culture Experience with
conflict resolution Strong facilitation skills within teams and
larger groups Experience resolving issues with higher levels of
management An excellent communicator and motivator Background and
drug screen Preferred Qualifications Experience in a SAFe / Scaled
Agile environment Experience working with high-growth technology

Working conditions consist of a normal office environment. Work is
primarily sedentary and requires extensive use of a computer and
involves sitting for periods of approximately four hours. Work may

be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally and/or negligible amount of
force frequently. Requires visual acuity and dexterity to view,
prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment including
personal computers. Requires the ability to communicate with
internal and/or external customers. Employee must be able to
