CVS Health Product Solutions Director Scottsdale , Arizona Apply Now --- The individual leads the creation, development of, and ongoing management of a focused Medicare health plan employer group waiver plan (EGWP) product strategy for the PBM. --- The individual will also be responsible for overseeing the creation and development of additional products and services for the Government Services organization which includes Individual Medicare, Medicaid, and the Exchange markets--- The Director will be a primary subject specialist of Medicare EGWP and PBM solutions, representing external market views, CVS health views, and CVS Health capabilities.--- Responsible for establishing a formal Medicare Health Plan EGWP product strategy team, defining overall product solutions and capabilities of the PBM, establishing an annual EGWP formulary development strategy structure, recommending operational improvements, and acting as the primary SME for the PBM related to EGWP capabilities.--- Leads Medicare Health Plan EGWP consultative engagement, including areas such as Medicare marketplace strategies, Part D product strategy, knowledge of CMS policy and market trends, plus known PBM strategies supporting clients.--- Defines with senior leaders across the PBM a suite of services available from the PBM defining the range of services and capabilities CVS Caremark offers the commercial market related to reseller solutions. Identifies new capabilities to be developed, collaborating with business teams to ideate, design, develop and launch new solutions --- Collaborates with internal teams such as Operations, Product, Client Financial Analysis and Marketing to ensure incorporation of commercial integrated sales solutions as a strategic consideration into annual business plans and into other parts of the Enterprise.--- Establishes a new model supporting the development of products and solutions unique to Government Programs based on its strategic plan. This new model requires partnering with internal teams including Product, Finance, Operations, Regulatory Affairs and HP Sales to define program and market solutions to elevate CVS Caremark's ability to be a leader in the Government Programs marketplace. This includes establishing a governance model to oversee the development and launch of new program and market solutions. --- Establishes a new model to enable the upsell of existing or new products and solutions for HP clients in partnership with HP Sales, Product, and Finance. --- The Director will be responsible for development and maintenance of external value positioning, presentation creation for prospect and client renewal meetings, presentations for client meetings, new insights creation supporting PBM market positioning or insights into market trends, client forum(s), as-needed cross-company coordination to support trending business issues of key importance to clients, and other communication related strategy needs to enhance the client experience and/ or market position of the PBM's EGWP and commercial reseller capabilities--- The Director will serve as a primary contact for key clients and will be expected to communicate with and influence senior leaders at CVS Health, the client, as well industry leaders --- Engages and works directly with Sr leaders (VPs and above) to ensure CVSH business areas are focused and committed to support the goals and objectives of the EGWP and commercial reseller goals --- Represents PBM Government Services on enterprise-wide product and services development activity and or issue remediations, as needed--- Represents CVS Caremark as an executive leader with health plan clients across all levels of the organization --- The Director will manage a high performing team that will support our Medicare Health Plans, plus other Government Programs clients as necessary, ensuring the highest levels of support and performance.--- Responsible for interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training, and continuous education of team.--- Evaluate customer and stakeholder needs regularly to adapt to emerging market demands and client prioritiesRequired Qualifications--- 10+ years' experience in health plan consulting, health plan product management, PBM product management, or related experience --- Product, Operations, Marketing, Account Management, or related role experience --- Proven experience in managing a business plan --- Project management or equitable experience--- Excellent verbal and written skills--- Excellent presentation development and delivery skills--- Ability to work independently with little supervision in a highly matrixed organization --- Proven ability to influence and hold colleagues accountable--- Bachelor's degree required --- Self learning when on new projects or in new situations--- Travel 10 % of time.--- * 10+ years of cumulative experience managing a large client account in the PBM, health plan, or related healthcare field with a focus on account ownership and strategy--- Must demonstrate strategic thinking as well as "roll up your sleeves" action. --- Ability to articulate and promote a vision. --- Strategic business acumen and proven senior leadership skills. --- Deep knowledge of the healthcare industry and how it functions.
