Our Onco360 Pharmacy in Scottsdale, Arizona has a need for a Pharmacy Director. Onco360 Pharmacy is a unique oncology pharmacy model created to serve the needs of community, oncology and hematology physicians, patients, payers, and manufacturers.The Pharmacy Director is responsible for the operation, direction, coordination, evaluation and management of the pharmacy operation. In addition, this position will plan, organize and implement the policies and procedures that are established for Onco360 pharmacies. The Pharmacy Director will adhere to all State and Federal laws and regulations with accepted standards of Onco360's good pharmacy practices.A career with us is more than just a job.     • Determine the day-to-day priorities for the pharmacy staff and adjust those priorities as need be to meet the high touch needs of the pharmacy's patients.
    • Plan, organize and ensure adherence to Onco360 pharmacy policies and procedures.
    • Establish satisfactory methods of drug distribution and control.
    • Interview, select and supervise the activities of the pharmacy staff; communicate interpret and discuss with staff policies and procedures
    • Determine job objectives, work methods and performance standards; review performance relative to departmental objectives; authorize and communicate salary changes, promotions, transfers, discipline and discharge and administer all other personnel actions when necessary to maintain consistent and productive workflow in the pharmacy.
    • Establish reporting and approval procedures; delegate authority to pharmacy technicians to accomplish pharmacist supervised tasks. Provide authorization for supervision, orientation, training, job objectives, performance standards and appraisal, personal development, safety, communication, discipline, scheduling, grievances and other personnel actions.
    • Appropriately recognize organizational lines within the department; keep employees informed of matters affecting their work and interest; interpret and explain policies and procedures, department objectives, operations, services, organization, budget and seek comments and suggestions from employees.
    • Provide for maintenance of appropriate records in order to assure that the quality, quantity and timeliness of work done is documented. Review and appraise work of others within the department; review and evaluate departmental performance; keep Vice President informed of the department's progress and problems and any significant factors affecting assigned responsibilities.
    • Assure that professional competence of staff is maintained through education and coordination with senior staff. Plan for both short and long-range goals of the department in concert with the whole organizational plan of Onco360.

    • Prepare, upon request, reports and special studies; participate in and contribute to management and professional committees at all levels; keep informed of trends and changes insides and outside of Onco360 which relate to assigned functions.
    • Maintain competency in care for patients of all age groups and developmental stages, and maintain competency as specifically indicated by orientation guidelines for a particular unit.
    • Documentation of adverse events and products complaints per contractual obligations to pharmaceutical manufacturers
    • Main point of contact as the security/safety coordinator.
    • Other duties as required.Pharmacy Director Position Qualifications:Education/Learning Experience
      • Required: Bachelor's degree (BSPh or Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD).Work Experience
        • Required: 3+ years retail pharmacy, management, and clinical experience.
          • Desired: Specialty pharmacy experience preferred.Skills/Knowledge
            • Desired: CPR+ knowledge is preferred.Licenses/Certifications
