today.PRIMARY PURPOSE: -Vitalant is currently seeking a Director of
Business Analytics to be responsible for scouting, analyzing, and
developing details related to new biotherapy partnerships. This
business development role will be critical to the continued growth
of the organization by creating and facilitating processes for
incoming cell therapy, gene therapy, and regenerative medicine
financial and medical evaluations while performing 3rd party
valuations and leading the due diligence process on selected
equity, development, and ventures partnerships. The successful
candidate will establish plans, strategies, and analytics to expand
the deal flow quality and optimal positioning of company resources
within 3rd party entities. This role will be further responsible
for the internal training and education of key resources to support
business development efforts for the organization's growth. This
high-exposure position will work closely with VP of Business
Development, providing key information towards the achievement of
Strategy and Business Development efficacy in accordance with
company values, policies, goals and objectives established by
Executive Management and the Board of Trustees. -DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs all assigned duties in compliance with internal SOPs and
external regulations. Brings compliance issues to the attention of
management.Assures quality customer service to all
customers.Provides effective leadership to achieve high levels of
service and product quality, financial results, and other criteria
in accordance with policies, goals, and objectives.Identifies and
effectively resolves personnel issues where applicable.Develops a
plan for scouting and analyzing new ventures to yield a high volume
of the "critical few" entities worthy of company partnerships
essential of mission and top line growth. Reviews each potential
company and therapy partner nationally to determine the mission and
financial impact. Creates a scoring and selection process based on
the above success criteria and the ease of integration associated
with each opportunity. Plans and conducts internal and external
deep dives with key industry experts. Provides written reports
detailing all evaluations, scoring, and recommendations for
investment, supply and development partnerships, and / or joint
ventures. Establishes and maintains effective business
relationships with executive decision makers for key
partnerships.Responsible for internal training on business
development processes, due diligence efforts, valuations
determination, and price positioning. Participates in the
development of annual operating plan, including supporting
business.Remains abreast of changes and developments in the
biotherapy industry. Establishes and maintains a network of
professional relationships, both inside and outside the
corporation. Represents the company through participation in
conferences, workshops, and venture capital discussions. Performs
all other duties, at the discretion of management, as
assigned.REQUIREMENTS:Knowledge/Education
Bachelor's degree in related area required.
Masters Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
Thorough knowledge of all aspects of business evaluations,
reporting, analytics, and forensics required.
Thorough knowledge of healthcare product development, treatments,
and biological research, preferred.Licenses/Certifications
