Job Overview

Job responsibilities for restaurant General Managers consist of hiring and training new employees, supervising kitchen operations, and scheduling kitchen staff members.

Duties:

• Instructing workers
• Reviewing menu items
• Taking inventory
• Placing food orders
• Scheduling maintenance.
• Daily quality assurance inspections. Job Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Previous experience in the restaurant industry or training at a vocational school or college
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong Leadership, organizational, and motivational skills.
  • A working knowledge of computers and the ability to work under pressure.
  • To read and write fluently to take instructions in both verbal and written forms
  • Must provide documentation of legal U. S. residency
  • Must have a Food Handlers Card
  • Must have Serv-Safe Certifications
