Job SummaryThe ESG Stakeholder Engagement and Impact, Sr.
Program Manager will enhance Workiva's business growth and societal
impact with environmental, social, and governance (ESG). Leading as
a project manager and strategic facilitator, this role will be
responsible for Workiva's global ESG stakeholder engagement with
external organizations such as associations, governments, and our
ESG advisory council members and internal ESG Task Force. This role
will advance Workiva's ESG strategy and impact outcomes through
execution of ESG corporate programs identified by the ESG Task
Force and executive team. The Senior Program Manager will work
closely with many internal and external stakeholders to implement
the best in class ESG programs and opportunities with the goal of
positioning Workiva as a SaaS leader in ESG. This role will help
deliver year-over-year improvement in ESG key performance
indicators, impact outcomes and support ESG industry ratings and
rankings, stakeholder inquiries, as well as annual reporting. The
role will serve as a mentor to ESG staff, interns, consultants and
short-term assignments.Responsibilities
- Ensure development and implementation of the ESG strategic
program and public promises with work streams being effectively
managed and milestones are achieved. Including managing Workiva's
Environmental Initiatives such as renewable energy transition
within Iowa, rec and off setting programming, and Green Fridays,
and consult on sustainable supply chain efforts, recycling, and
e-waste
- Manage Workiva's external stakeholder relationships with 15+
ESG public and private ESG corporate partners to advance Workiva's
ESG strategy and impact. Particularly, our global headquarters
located in Iowa.
- Serve as Secretary to the ESG External Task Force providing
direction, meeting content, scheduling, meeting minutes, meeting
recordings, and agendas to achieve goals.
- Serve as Secretary to the ESG ESG Advisory Council providing
direction, meeting content, scheduling, meeting minutes, meeting
recordings, and agendas to achieve goals.
- Collect and curate content for Workiva's ESG social and
economical impact performance across organizations and partner with
Communications and Marketing department to elevate internally and
externally by using various media channels (website, social,
intranet etc.)
- Lead the development, implementation, and management of
dashboards for impact reporting and marketing influenced
opportunities
- Lead and enhance internal Workiva ESG education, training, and
communications in partnership with internal stakeholders
- Provide mentorship and guidance to ESG staff, interns,
consultants, and short-term assignments
- Serve as a local, state, national, and global representative of
Workiva with various committees, customers and stakeholder
groups.What You'll NeedEducation
- Undergraduate Degree
- Minor or certifications in human centered design,
environmental, social, and governance, public policy, corporate
social responsibility, sustainability or related field, a
plus.
- Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship, Human Center
Designed Certification, or ESG training, preferred.Skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication
skills
- Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and manage multiple
projects in a fast-paced, changing, matrix collaborative
environment
- Ability to create project plans with business association,
public and private community based organizations for a strong
return on investment and impact
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, make decisions and resolve
issues with minimal supervision
- Advanced knowledge social and economic impact measurement,
preferredExperience
- 8+ years program, stakeholder engagement and partnership
management experience within a large or mid size preferably global,
organization, with increased job responsibilities over the
years
- 5+ years experience within corporate social responsibility or
ESG program development and execution
- 5 + years experience in formal or informal management and
mentorship roles
- Experience presenting, leading and facilitating group process
and collaboration
- Experience managing external relationships, setting
expectations for mutual beneficial partnerships and
communicationTravel
- 30% travel to meet with project teams and stakeholdersWorking

remotely, not in a Workiva office.How You'll Be Rewarded:
- Salary range in the US:$96,000.00 - $180,000.00 Annually
- A discretionary bonus typically paid annually
- Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire
