Day:Communications
- Develop integrated communication strategies, understanding the
importance of timing and setting, responding to crises and
setbacks, overseeing and working closely with a team of diverse
communications roles, and ensuring that campaigns, content,
information and all executions released are consistent with the
BITS Organization strategy at large.
- Partners very closely with Corporate Communications to develop,
coordinate and implement public relations & communications plans.
Develop appropriate messages, strategies and tactics for various
target audiences
- Seek out, identify and evaluate proactive media opportunities -
as well as situations that could adversely impact the
organization's reputation- and coordinate strategies and tactics to
promote and protect the organization.
- Provide leadership on communications strategies and tactics and
develop appropriate responses and communications materials.
- Cultivate strong working relationships with senior-most
stakeholders within the organization, the industry, the community,
and the media.
- Monitor and provide senior evaluation on all media coverage of
the bank. Evaluate the success of earned media placements and
mitigating crises, and utilize learnings from outcomes to inform
future strategic outreach.
- Manage multiple proactive and reactive campaigns, briefings and
opportunities across organization
- Provide creative and top-quality writing to illuminate
communications effortsOrganizational Change Management &
Operational Readiness
- Ensures successful adoption and usage of a project/initiative
by employees, with a focus on the people-side of change including
business processes, systems, technology, and job roles. Your duties
will include delivering customized change management solutions,
actionable deliverables, partnering with project leadership to
incorporate change strategies, executing plans for rollout,
training, and communications, evaluating and measuring the
effectiveness of internal communications and training plans, and
identifying and addressing resistance and performance gaps
- Oversee all aspects of change management and operational
readiness for the BITS organization and recommend ways to improve
quality, delivery, change management controls, and efficiency
across the business.
- Extensive experience in delivering highly visible, complex
initiatives, global programs and capable of prioritizing and
driving multi-program portfolio in a largescale, distributed
organization.
- Drive end results of the project, working closely with
executives, business stakeholders, Human Resources, Training team,
Technical Team, and Third-Party vendors.
- Co-develop, manage, and facilitate the Communications, Change
Strategy, Plan and Training.
- Provide guidance and materials on the deployment of user
support and actively participate in UAT (User Acceptance
Testing).
- Prepares, maintains, and submits clear and concise executive
level activity/progress reports and presentations.
- Responsible for enterprise-wide communication of the project,
driving operational excellence of the team, developing training
strategies and plans, so global users are ready and willing to
adopt the solution upon deployment.
- Develop strategy and approach by using PMO methodology to
create a change management project plan to fit the
stakeholders/customers' needs, deliver within budget on desired
outcomes, expand use of frameworks, methodologies, and tools to
expand business change, system adoption and execution across the
enterprise.
- Ensures all stakeholders are identified and included in scope
definition activities and understand the program schedule and key
milestones.
- Review project planning documentation and the results from the
requirements gathering and discovery workshops to identify pain
points, messaging opportunities, lessons learned from prior
experiences.
- Promotes partner involvement by applying a proactive approach
in routinely tracking the project participant progress against
project goals, discovering potential problems before they occur, by
following escalation and change control processes.
- Promotes good working relationships across a project,
cultivating the people skills needed to develop trust and
communication among all project's stakeholders: its sponsors, those
who will make use of the project's results, those who command the
resources needed, and the project team members.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, and
escalating, managing and reporting control issues with
transparency.Employee Engagement
- Responsible for driving culture and engagement activities
through hospitality and the Employee Experience to ensure our
employees feel seen, heard, recognized and celebrated. Drives the
design and coordination of communications that support department
strategy and reflect the core values that contribute to PayPal
culture
- Partner closely with HR, Customer Experience, Training and
other key workstreams to develop strategies and tactics that
support and promote an organizational culture that encourage high
performance, high morale, integrity, trust and teamwork
- Recognize and articulate the future state through an
understanding of internal and external challenges, identifying
unique opportunities to create value and engage employee and
stakeholder involvement
- Organize program and logistics for the CIO leadership team,
including preparing for and hosting events and meetings
- Assist HR with developing and analyzing surveys and reports
feedback to leadership
- Collaborate cross-functionally to implement solutions across
the BITS organization for all instances of culture and
engagement
- Leverage various mediums of employee feedback to identify
priority areas for the team
- Work collaboratively with teams throughout the organization to
execute on focus areas set forth by the leadership teamWhat You
Need to Bring:
- Minimum 10 years in Communications and/or Marketing
required
- Minimum 10 years of experience in organizational change
management related to technology, software, or products, experience
across the full organizational change lifecycle, proficiency in
various change methodologies and approaches/tools,
- Minimum of 5-7 years supervisory/managerial experience
- Transformation Experience
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively across a highly matrixed
organization
- Excellent oral and written communications skills; Previous
experience interacting and working with Executive Leaders.
- Project Management experience with the ability to develop
project plans, manage individual deadlines and goals.
- Proficient in MS Office applications with a strong emphasis on
