Your Impact
As the leader of Axon's Corporate IT Infrastructure, you will build the foundational technological building blocks and services that are driving this positive change everyday. Your scope of ownership will be company-wide, helping set strategy and ensuring that mission-critical services are always available. This position has an incredibly unique vantage point at the intersection of business and technology. You will partner with every functional domain in the company and exercise your influence directing large, complex, global, hybrid IT environments, with a focus on operational excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do:

• 
  
• Ensure availability, reliability and performance of IT infrastructure that supports all key operational activities including engineering, manufacturing and distribution of our devices.
  
• Deliver and support world-class collaboration technologies (hardware and software) in support of in-person, hybrid and remote work.
  
• Provide end user hardware and software and with appropriate support to all Axon employees globally.
  
• Lead the development of our IT infrastructure, cloud, and operations strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and objectives.
  
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, internal audit and information security.
  
• Drive continuous improvement in service delivery to improve efficiency, reliability, security, and customer satisfaction.
  
• Manage and lead a team of IT professionals, providing coaching, guidance, and performance management to ensure optimal performance and results.
  
• Oversee the design and implementation of our hybrid infrastructure, leveraging cloud and IaaS wherever possible (cloud first).
  
• Lead the IT Compliance function, with overall responsibility for IT compliance across all Axon enterprise systems including but not limited to SOX, PCI, Information Security, and HIPPA.
  
• Oversee the implementation of IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance across all of Axon with regulatory requirements, best practices, and industry standards.
  
• Establish and maintain effective vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring optimal service levels and costs while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective IT services.
  
• Develop and manage annual IT budgets, ensuring cost-effective delivery of IT services and driving a culture of fiscal responsibility.
  
  What You Bring
  
  • 
    
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
    
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
    
  • Extensive experience in managing large, complex, global IT cloud and on-premise environments, with a focus on operational excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
    
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networking, telecommunications, servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud technologies.
    
  • Experience in managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts.
    
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
    
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions to complex IT challenges.
    
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices in IT infrastructure and operations.
    
  • Experience in manufacturing/distribution organization a strong plus.
    
  • Experience in Microsoft cloud solutions including Azure and Office 365.
