Job Description:
SUMMARY
The Project Manager will be directly involved with the interaction
and communication of assigned major account(s) in relationship with
Truno. This will primarily be in the areas of Professional Services
engagements and customer specific relationships between their 3rd
party vendors and Truno for installations, upgrades, and new store
openings. The Project Manager will have a very significant role in
the relationship between the POS Development, Support and Service
Departments and the various teams within the IT and Operations
divisions of the assigned major customer(s).
RESPONSIBILITIES
A Project Manager at TRUNO will:
- Manage task lists for IT projects -POS and DMA back office
systems (primarily POS)
- Most project plans use an excel format
- Discovery, Lab, Pilot, Rollout
- Researching follow-up answers prior to each weekly scheduled
meeting is critical
- Monitor development enhancement testing and bug fix
resolution
- Mange rollout issues resolution
- Manage Truno resources and adherence to project
schedules
- Manage the Statement of Work approval process
- Monitor the retailer's creation of purchase orders for Truno
invoicing purposes
- Assume the role of liaison between Truno developers and the
retailers project resources
- Establish and maintain exceptional communication, working
relationships, and trust with the assigned customer(s), as well as
the 3rd party vendors that both the customer and Truno mutually
engage with
- Communicate with and provide scheduled reports and updates to
Frank Colbert
- Communicate and document activities around Truno engagements in
regards to joint project work with vendors and contractors for the
assigned customer(s)
- Assist to ensure proper processes and procedures are being
understood and followed that are specific to the assigned
customer(s). Promptly communicate any questions, concerns, or noted
issues that arise directly to Frank Colbert.
- Assist with vendor relationship building
- Additional duties and responsibilities as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
A Project Manager at TRUNO should have:
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years in the supermarket industry (Preferred
)
- Project management experience
- Customer service background
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Exceptional customer service orientation (Required)
- Exceptional oral and written communication, including
communicating in a way that a non-technical end user and/or
executive can understand (required)
- Ability to think, learn, and solve complex and cross-functional
problems quickly (required)
- Ability to document processes and procedures
(required)
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute multiple tasks in
a high-pressure environment (required)
