Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale is a luxury hotel nestled in the foothills of Pinnacle Peak amid towering cacti, enriched with outstanding design and talent.

The Opportunity:

The Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale is in search of an experienced and talented Assistant In Room Dining Manager to supervise and support our In Room Dining team and ensure service standards and guest experience are met and in line with Four Seasons standards.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees in the Hotel's Room Service Department to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met.
  • The ability to be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts.
  • Describe and ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as provide knowledge of wine and spirits in an elegantly appointed environment dedicated to an attentive and distinctive experience for 24-hour a day in-room dining and in-room private bar services.
  • Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, purchasing decisions, and inventory and control.
  • Attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments.
  • Observe physical condition of facilities and equipment in the outlet and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed.
  • Ensure guest amenities are delivered on time and to Four Seasons standards.

    Who We Look For:

    The ideal candidate will have:
    • College degree - preferably specializing in Hotel & Restaurant Management
    • 1-2 years previous experience in an Assistant Manager role in Food & Beverage (preferably In Room Dining in a luxury hotel/resort)
    • Requires working knowledge of Food & Beverage service, cost control, labor control,
    • Experience with Opera PMS and Micros POS systems.
    • The ability to stand/walk up to 8 hours per shift at times.
    • Professional communication written and verbal in English (Spanish is preferred also)
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn other proprietary computer based applications.
