position of Director of Procurement, an outstanding opportunity for

DescriptionThe Director of Procurement will support Arevon's 10GW
PV/10 GWh BESS development pipeline and 4.5 GW PV/1.2 GWh BESS
operating portfolio. The selected candidate will report to the Vice
President of Procurement and have cross-functional interaction with
Development, Origination, Engineering, Construction, M&A, and
Operations teams. This position will require close interaction with
executive-level personnel, including the board and investors.The
position's primary focus will be to lead supplier techno-economic
analysis, CapEx forecasting, technology market research, manage
supplier relationships, and support the development/M&A
pipeline. The applicant will develop and improve internal processes
to enhance RFPs, MSA execution, and design optimization process.The
responsibilities of the Director of Procurement include but are not
limited to:--- Supporting technical/commercial supplier due
diligence processes, competitive RFPs, negotiations, and contract
execution for capital equipment (BESS, Modules, PCS, and
Trackers).--- Explore new technologies, lead the evaluation, and
benchmarking of new products to determine the economic value and
potential impacts if implemented.--- Perform market analyses,
define cost structures, develop should-cost models, forecast
industry trends and risks, and leverage expertise to ensure Arevon
is working with and procuring from best-in-class suppliers to meet
cost targets.--- Understand key suppliers' organizational
structure, financial health, negotiated Terms and Conditions, deal
structure, exposure/risk, culture, and service capabilities.---
Supporting tax equity and debt financing due diligence.---
Supporting design optimization for early-stage greenfield projects
(modeling, cost estimates, and project schedules). Develop
consensus on optimal system design, construction, and operational
approaches.--- Build strategic relationships with equipment and
services suppliers and perform as key point of contact within
Arevon.--- Maintaining feedback loop with operations and
development/construction teams to ensure issues are documented and
considered for future MSAs and projects.--- Conducting
manufacturing facility and construction site visits to ensure
proper QAQC measures are followed on procured equipment.--- Attend
industry events and represent Arevon to the industry in a
professional capacity.--- Lead a small team of 4-5
associates.Qualifications--- 4-6 years of utility-scale energy
storage experience or equivalent combination of education and
directly related experience.--- Minimum of 1 year of BESS
experience required.--- General knowledge of supply chain
management and procurement, as well as construction principles
considered an asset.--- Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint is a
must (PowerBI, Tableau, and/or data other visualization platforms
are considered an asset).--- Basic coding/programming abilities not
required, but considered an asset (Python, SQL, Java, etc.)---
Strong math and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop
complex analyses and perform independent research.--- Strong
familiarity with evaluating supplier proposals and converting costs
into energy unit-based pricing (i.e., $/kWh, $/W).--- Able to
prioritize tasks based on potential commercial impacts under
aggressive deadlines.--- Ability to travel at a minimum of 1 week
per month.Education Requirements--- BS degree in engineering
desired.--- Alternative acceptable degrees include economics,
business, finance, energy, or related disciplines.Contact
