As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in assisting PillPack customers by aiding in the refill and denial process of prescriptions. Successful candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug test./span/divdivbr/divdivbr/divdivi style=font-size: 15px;"Employees will be on-site for training during their 1st two weeks. Upon completion of training, all new colleagues will work from home. In order to do so, you will be required to have access to a reliable broadband internet connection, either through DSL, cable, or fiber-to- home (FiOS or Fiber Optic) with a minimum internet speed requirement of 10 mbps download and 5 mbps upload contracted speed, ability to connect to the PillPack network via a hardwired internet connection, not via WIFI, a separate room or part of a room for your home work area that is private and free of distractions (i.e. barking dogs, television noise, music, children, etc.) and is able to devote full attention to the PillPack customer during work hours. Note that while WFH is currently approved, it is subject to change in accordance with any regulatory requirements."/i/divh3Core Responsibilities:/h3ulliCommunicate with patients by telephone and take refill requests from patients /liliTransfer calls from providers to the pharmacist when necessary/liliRequest the transfer of existing customer prescriptions into PillPacks pharmacies/liliTranscribe verbal prescriptions from external pharmacies/liliManage daily logs and collaborate with team to prioritize workload/liliWork with the ongoing support team to enter appropriate drug, drug dose, time, instructions and prescriber information into the pharmacy filling system/liliCommunicate with providers to obtain new prescriptions and follow up on patient-related inquiries/li/ulh3Basic Qualifications:/h3ulliHigh school or equivalent diploma/liliState Board of Pharmacy License in good standing (This includes Pharmacy Technician, Trainee, and Assistant Licenses) /liliNational Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA) /lili6+ months of customer service experience/lili6+ months of experience working with computer and web based tools/liliExperience navigating and troubleshooting the internet/liliExperience multitasking with phone and computer skills/liliExperience recognizing and identifying patient medications/li/ulh3Preferred Qualifications:/h3ulli1+ year of relevant phone or email customer service experience/liliExcellent communication skills (spoken and written)/liliDemonstrated ability to work as an effective team member/liliStrong organization skills and attention to detail/liliExperience working under pressure in a fast-paced work environment while consistently meeting standards for productivity and quality/li/ulh3Salary/h3ulli$18.00/hourly for Certified Pharmacy Technician (NHA or PTCB)/li/ulh3Shifts/h3ulliMonday - Friday - 8:30am-5:00pm/liliMonday - Friday - 9:30am - 6:00pm/liliSunday -Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm /liliMonday -Friday 11:30am-8:00pm/li/uldiv**Availability is subject to change and based on business needs/divdivAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
