Responsibilities Maintain up-to-date knowledge on relevant
CDC/OSHA guidelines and mitigation strategies. Participate in
research opportunities and keep up-to-date with clinical practice.
Review and/or complete pre-visit checklist to prepare for
environmental assessment site visits. Perform comprehensive
environmental assessment of the client workplace to include three
key elements of structure, people, and process. Work
collaboratively, and communicate effectively, with environmental
assessment team, external client leadership and team members,
client local community, and in-house Matrix departments. Translate
and assist the integration of CDC/OSHA guidelines, specific to each
client location. Identify best practices and encourage optimization
of healthy and safe evidenced-based practices. Lead the clinical
aspect of environmental assessment debrief discussion, and other
related meetings with the client and environmental assessment team.
Complete the post-visit environmental checklist to assist with
completion of the executive summary within designated time frame.
Provide education based on identified client needs. Participate in
risk and quality management programs, clinical meetings, and
inter-department meetings providing a clinical environment
assessment point of view. Consult with manager of Employee Health
Services to ensure compliance with guidelines. Comply with relevant
State Boards (i.e.: State Board of Nursing, Medical Boards).
Participate in all mandatory compliance and other training
programs. Cross-train others to participate in developing programs.
Other duties as assigned. Qualifications 3-5 years Advanced
Clincial experience Clinical expertise in Public Health, Community
Health, Occupational Health, and/or Epidemiology Principles
preferred. Demonstrate focus on evidence based practice.
Demonstrated ability to identify, diagnose and document health
status of Client, communities, and occupational health settings.
Proven ability to recognize and recommend mitigation
strategies/opportunities to maintain a healthy workplace and
community. Experience acting in a consultant manner, providing
information accurately and professionally to address needs of the
client/customer. Proven ability to establish and maintain effective
relationships with clients. Proven ability to pursue feedback,
continuing education and professional development. Advanced
knowledge and experience with MS Office and other related
technology. Demonstrate confidence and comfort in leading
discussions with client leadership and internal departments.
Ability to effectively collaborate with others to accomplish goals
and tasks. Ability to manage interpersonal situations
professionally and productively. Ability to meet deadlines,
prioritize assignments, and use time effectively and efficiently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability for
strong attention to detail and quality of work. Self-motivation,
proactive thinking and ability to work independently. Skilled and
comfortable navigating ambiguous situations, thinking outside the
box, and creatively problem solving. Project Management experience
preferred Travel Requirements : Extensive travel required. Must be
able to travel away from home up to 70% of the time, one to three
weeks at a time. Must be able to drive a vehicle and meet company
driving standards. Must have valid state driver license and be able
to drive a car. Must meet company's automobile liability insurance
standards and provide proof of coverage. Must be able to travel by
public transportation, and airplanes. Must be able to independently
travel to assigned locations. Education requirements: Advanced
Clinical Degree preferred (RN, NP, PA, DO, or MD)
Licensure/Certifications Current RN, NP, PA, DO or MD licensure in
state of practice Applicable current and active verifiable Board
certification ex: (AANP, ANCC, ABMS, AOA, NCCPA) Matrix Medical
