We are searching for a physical therapist to play a key role in implementing and growing a unique membership-based, direct-to-consumer service line that exceeds the needs of our consumers, disrupts traditional treatment models and reflects the Spooner brand and company treatment philosophy. This physical therapist will have the primary responsibility of working closely with the community, Spooner patients, clinic teams, and company leaders to facilitate a seamless care path for the individual seeking ease of access to the care they need. This therapist will utilize direct access as a primary musculoskeletal specialist. Successful execution of the duties of this position results in meeting company goals of customer acquisition, growth of the Movement Plus program across the valley, and improved patient engagement. The growth of this program may yield the potential for rapid professional advancement.This position reports to the Director of Clinic Operations.Expectations

  • Performs to the highest legal, moral and ethical physical therapist conduct and standards of excellence in patient care as set forth by both Spooner and the physical therapy industry.
  • Reinforces and upholds Spooner's organizational Mission, Core Values, and Vision.
  • Reinforces Spooner's treatment philosophy.
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and administer a physical therapy patient care program.
  • Ability to select and administer appropriate assessment and treatment methods.
  • Ability to deliver effective oral and written communication skills.Essential Job Duties
    • Oversee, promote, and drive Movement Plus membership sales and subscriptions.
    • Coordinate with the Marketing department on development of the Movement Plus brand, promotion of Movement Plus membership, and unique selling proposition.
    • Provide basic technical support of web portal and mobile application engagement for users.
    • Monitor and act upon basic data/key performance indicators.
    • Train, onboard, and manage virtual physical therapists and support staff to ensure that expectations and behaviors are consistent with the Spooner standard of care and Company Treatment Philosophy.
    • Promote the Movement Plus program and the company as a whole internally and externally.
    • Execute, track, and report on the success of the Movement Plus program.
    • Develop business relationships with the key stakeholders in the community and physical therapy profession.
    • Ensures timely communication from the Spooner team according to service-level expectations.
    • Develop in-depth knowledge of Spooner products and services outside the scope of coordination of the Movement Plus program for optimal delivery and presentation of information to both internal and external sources for credibility and marketing potential.
    • Communicate and coordinate with medical practitioners to obtain additional information, suggest treatment revisions, and integrate therapy alternatives into patient's care.Education and Experience
      • Three years of outpatient clinical practice
      • Graduate of APTA accredited physical therapy institution.
      • Licensed in the state of Arizona.
      • CPR certification.
