Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Labor and Delivery - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours - Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Travel Labor and Delivery RN Facility: Banner Payson Medical Center Shift: 3x12s - Night Shift Start Date: 01/12/2025 Assignment Length: 13 weeks Scheduled End: 28/02/2026 Guaranteed Hours: 24 hours/week Certifications and Licenses: - Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice - BLS (Basic Life Support) - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - Additional certifications preferable but not mandatory depending on facility requirements What You Bring: - Proven experience in Labor and Delivery nursing with a strong understanding of obstetric and neonatal care. - Excellent patient assessment skills, with the ability to respond quickly and effectively in high-pressure situations. - Strong communication skills to collaborate with healthcare teams and provide compassionate patient care. - Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic clinical environment. - Commitment to maintaining a safe, respectful, and supportive atmosphere for patients and staff. Preferred Education & Experience: - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher preferred. - Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience in a hospital setting. - Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and relevant clinical protocols. - Experience working night shifts and handling multiple deliveries in a fast-paced environment.
