Integrated Healthcare Services is seeking a travel Nuclear
Medicine Technologist for a travel job in Scottsdale, Arizona. Job
Description & Requirements Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours
per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel 5 – 8hr
shifts, M-F. Start times between 6am and 730am. No call AZ License
BLS ARRT cert – AARTN or NMTCB Position Overview: (Major Functions
and Non-Essential Functions): Receives direction from Radiologists,
supervisors and members of the Radiology management team. Works
cooperatively with physicians, nurses, residents, support
personnel, patients, co-workers and various health professionals
throughout Mayo Clinic Enterprise. Nuclear medicine technologists
prepare and administer radioactive isotopes producing high quality
images for physicians to use in diagnosing disease and that meet
the standards established by the Mayo Clinic Radiology Departments.
Requires competence, as determined by competency assessments, in a
variety of imaging equipment and technology. Practices proper
safety guidelines for themselves, support personnel and patients.
Fosters teamwork through effective communication. Ensures high
level of service to patients through proper communication,
technique, and safety guidelines. Maintains flexibility to staff
various work locations, shift times and lengths. Perform other
functional duties as assigned to assure efficient and optimal
patient care. Additional Experience and/or Qualifications: (Has
Achieved Competency in the Following Areas, Job Knowledge and
Additional Considerations): Nuclear Medicine Technologist
experience preferred. Organized, efficient and multifunctional.
Ability to work independently. Requires excellent interpersonal
skills and demonstrates effective communication. Ability to work
varied hours, shift lengths and respond to an on-call pager which
may include days, evenings, nights, holidays and weekends. Minimum
Education and/or Experience Required: (Education Requirements and
Experience): A nuclear medicine technologist must be a graduate of
an accredited nuclear medicine technology program (as recognized by
the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or Nuclear
Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)).
Licensure/Certification Required: A nuclear medicine technologist
must be board certified in Nuclear Medicine Technology and maintain
current licensure. (NMTCB or ARRT - Nuc. Med.) Additional
certifications may be required and determined by Radiology
leadership. Appropriate state licensure from the state in which the
candidate practices (if the state requires licensure). BLS
certified RightSourcing (a part of Magnit) expected pay package may
vary and/or include certain benefits like: Stipends (for clinical
traveler workers only), Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K
QUALIFICATION/LICENSURE Work Authorization : US Citizen Preferred
