Job Title: Telemetry Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 1900 - 0730 Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: Strong clinical assessment skills Description: The Telemetry Registered Nurse will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, and implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis. The role involves the supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated. The Telemetry Registered Nurse is accountable for supporting facility leadership to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care. The role also includes ensuring the competency of clinical staff and appropriate resource management related to patient care. The patient-to-nurse ratio for days is 4:1 and for nights is 5:1.
