Position: Recruiter
Location: Scottsdale, AZ
The Recruitment Specialist is responsible for assisting in the
company's recruiting and Talent Acquisition methods and strategies.
They will be responsible for full life cycle recruitment of all
positions within the organization, from initiation of requisition,
to screen/speak with candidates, set interviews, and help with the
flow of candidates through the interview process to onramping.
Essential Functions
Help hiring leaders identify and define position needs, to include
crafting job description, ROI, and benchmarking costs.
Sources active and passive candidate through multiple avenues and
contact strategies; reduces use of outside placement firm
costs.
Track and share recruiting metrics, such as time to fill, cost per
hire, experience feedback, source stats.
Build online hiring brand to strengthen online presence on
LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, etc. Encourage employee and candidate
feedback.
Daily tasks include posting and unposting jobs from job websites to
include to include Indeed and LinkedIn, manages budget. Attracts
and engages both active and passive candidates.
Creates recruitment process for each role with hiring leader to
determine timeline, who is involved and hiring leader
preferences.
Writes interview question templates to ensure fair, equitable and
discrimination free process, tracks all applicants and dispositions
those not selected.
Helps craft 30-60-90 day success plans for post-hire, completes
monthly check ins with new hires post placement to ensure fit.
Screen resumes to align with the Skills, Knowledge and Ability that
align with the prerequisites to be considered for the role.
Scheduling applicants via Outlook and Google calendars for phone,
zoom and in person interviews
Coordinate with Staffing Vendors on scheduling applicants for panel
interviews
Create Offer Letters, Write language in Contract-Consultant
Agreements.
Completes onboarding experience, to include but not limited to
background checks, reference checks, payroll entry, and personnel
file creation.
Performs day one orientation to craft an experiential, meaningful
and impactful entry to the company.
Other duties as may be assigned.
Skills, Education and Experience:
--- The Arizona Medical Marijuana Act (the "Act") stipulates that
candidate must be at least 21 years of age or older, and
successfully pass a criminal background investigation and
fingerprint clearance conducted by state authorities. Additionally,
the Act requires that candidates apply for and obtain a valid
dispensary agent registration card prior to commencing employment
at either a dispensary or any of its cultivation sites.
--- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Human Resources
preferred.
--- Minimum of 3 years full life cycle Recruitment experience -
preferably in a cannabis business.
--- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook & Google GSuite including
Google Sheets, Docs and Slide.
--- Strong Administrative and project management skills.
--- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
--- Team player - willing to learn and share knowledge, always up
to brainstorm with HR team!
--- Physical Demands of lifting up to 25 lbs. at least waist high
occasionally
--- Capable of sitting for prolonged periods of time.
--- Capable of reading fine print and electronic media for
prolonged periods
