This may be a hybrid work role with the expectation that the Recruiter will spend one day per week at the Vi at Grayhawk and Vi at Silverstone communities. Position Summary: The Recruiter is responsible for providing talent acquisition leadership and support to multiple communities. Collaborating with Community HR leadership and Community hiring managers, supports the full talent acquisition life cycle from creation of the requisition, sourcing, to onboarding of new hires. Performs other duties as assigned. Principal Accountabilities / Essential Job Functions:

  • Provides sourcing and recruiting support for assigned community(ies). Reports into the Community HR teams and partners with them on strategies and programs to attract talent.
  • Identifies job vacancies that are difficult to fill and investigates the best recruitment approach for them.
  • Researches opportunities to introduce new recruitment vendors; monitors expenditures per vendor and job vacancy.
  • Keeps abreast of local job market pay and benefit competitiveness and recruitment strategies.
  • Acts as an employment brand ambassador for Vi and actively markets our opportunities, benefits and culture including on social media.
  • Works with Community hiring managers to create and implement a recruiting plan for open positions.
  • Provides weekly status updates on candidate pipeline and activities.
  • Obtains job requirements, prepares and coordinates advertising/postings, determines sourcing activities, works with external recruiting firms as necessary, and facilitates candidates through the hiring process.
  • Reviews resumes/applications, conducts phone screens and interviews potential candidates. Recommends candidates for further consideration.
  • Generates applicants by conducting searches, networking, direct-sourcing and following up on leads.
  • Generates candidate pipeline by networking with local schools, universities, organizations, career centers, etc.
  • Recommends, coordinates, supports and attends local job fairs, recruiting, networking, etc. events
  • Assesses and identifies recruitment or sourcing channels to attract talent.
  • Coordinates interview schedules for job candidates and arranges travel as necessary.
  • Provides regular follow-up with hiring managers to ensure timeliness of the recruitment process.
  • Coordinates any assessments required for designated positions.
  • Provides appropriate and timely feedback and communication to job candidates.
  • Enters and maintains all pertinent data in the CRM and Applicant Tracking System in a timely and accurate manner. Physical Requirements:

      • Skilled in interviewing techniques and full lifecycle recruiting.
      • Ability to source passive candidates and generate new leads.
      • Knowledge of Federal and State laws regarding employment practices.
      • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - verbal and written.
      • Strong follow through, time management and organizational skills.
      • Strong technical skills including ability to effectively use ATS, CRM systems and MS Office.
      • Strong customer focus to meet HR and hiring manager expectations.
      • Strong attention to detail and understands the importance of data integrity.
      • Ability to effectively and appropriately use various social medial channels to promote jobs and employer brand.
      • Must possess strong sense of urgency to attain expected results.
      • Must be sensitive to the needs of older adults and enjoy working with a senior population. Education and Experience:
        • Education: College degree in Human Resources or Business Administration is preferred.
        • Work Experience: previous hospitality external sales experience is a plus. A minimum 5 years of intensive recruitment and sourcing experience with emphasis on hospitality and healthcare recruiting with proven results is preferred. Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and/or CRMs is required.
          • Licensure / Certification: SHRM/HRCI certification is a plus. RequirementsEducation and Experience:
