    Scottsdale Community College (SCC) is seeking a Human Resources Analyst for our Talent Acquisition team. We are seeking an individual that is highly motivated, flexible, can work both independently and with a team. The ideal candidate will
    • Have shared responsibility for the full-cycle recruitment process to plan and organize recruitment and hiring activities for all organizational areas of Scottsdale Community College which includes
    • Drafting search plans
    • Facilitating job posting
    • Training search committees on the screening and interview processes
    • Coordinate interviews
    • Calculate pay
    • Present job offers to preferred candidates
      First line contact for hiring managers to assist with the recruitment and hire process for all levels of staff including collaborating, consulting and advising hiring managers and supervisors Works in a fast-paced, multitasking team environment while maintaining absolute confidentiality and detailed accuracy Accurate and Timely record keeping and documentation of discussions as well as creation of and presentation of training Develop and assist with presenting new employee orientation and the employee onboarding process
      Please note, this position may supervise full-time staff based on business needs.

      To best serve the students, department, and college, this position requires a physical presence on campus, with the possibility of partial remote work depending on business needs.

      Essential Functions

      70% Works in partnership with Departments and Hiring Managers throughout the full-cycle Recruitment, Selection and Hiring processes. To include; defining and documenting workforce needs and strategy. Make recommendations for staffing needs current and future. Works to create position and candidate profiles, timelines, interview and assessment methods, ensures equitable candidate screening, actively sources candidates, and assists hiring teams in applying equitable principles and practices. Maintains applicant tracking system, works with candidates through the pre-hire and hire processes to include; conducting pay placement analysis and job offers.

      20% Tracks and maintains performance measurements and metrics pertaining to recruitment and the employment process; Trains search committees on the screening and interview process, and presents training, guidance, orientation and onboarding for new SCC employees.

      10% Communicates and applies District employment policies and procedures, state and federal employment rules and regulations; verifies documents for accuracy and compliance with federal and state guidelines and District policy. Performs other duties as assigned.

      Minimum Qualifications

      Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in human resources or related field and two (2) years of professional level human resources experience in full-cycle recruiting and onboarding.

      OR

      Associate's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in human resources or related field and four (4) years of professional level human resources experience in full-cycle recruiting and onboarding.

      OR

      High School Diploma/GED and six (6) years of professional level human resources experience in full-cycle recruiting and onboarding.

      Desired Qualifications
      2+ years' experience with onboarding programs beyond new employee orientation. 2+ years' experience using HRIS or other technological platforms for recruiting, project management and data analysis (PeopleSoft/Oracle highly desired) Current HR Certification (SHRM, HRCI, etc.)

      Special Working Conditions
      Travel to campus during the interview/selection process will be at the candidate's own expense May be required to travel or work at multiple MCCCD sites or locations Requires prolonged periods of viewing a computer screen May be required to lift or carry up to 25 lbs
