The Network Technician assists internal staff and agents with day-to-day technical needs, maintaining and repairing equipment for the corporate and branch locations, as well as troubleshooting technical challenges throughout our systems.

What you'll do...

Repairs local and remote office workstations.
Configures and deploys workstations for new employees.
Troubleshoots software/hardware related problems with PCs, laptops, network equipment, printers and copiers.
Designs, configures and maintains corporate networking environment, including firewalls, vlans, etc.
Administers corporate domain including group policies, roles, permissions, network resources, etc.
Installs, configures and maintains security systems to protect against viruses, mal-ware, cyber intrusions, etc.
Administers automated backups of critical corporate data.
Travels to remote offices to install, configure and troubleshoot the hardware.
Works with audio video equipment installation (wall mounted LCDs, office music systems).
Performs network/telecom/CCTV/access control cable installation.
Maintains professionalism with regard to confidential company business.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualities we are looking for...

3+ years of experience in computer and network troubleshooting
Must have strong troubleshooting/problem solving skills and be mechanically inclined
Experience proactively maintaining windows-based systems and networks
Knowledge of TCP/IP Networking, PC/Server hardware troubleshooting
Windows Operating Systems (Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 2003/2008, Vmware ESXI infrastructure) Mac Operating systems. Linux experience a plus
