builds applications that provide near real-time Offers, Inventory,
and Pricing data for live events through streams and stream-powered
web. Our products power premier pricing tools, interactive seat
maps, e-commerce checkout, fraud prevention, reporting systems, and
more. This is a dynamic and growing team working on various aspects
including data streams, REST APIs, NoSQL databases, and
cloudinfrastructure.THE ROLETicketmaster is looking for a Senior
Software Engineer who can thrive in our fast-paced environment. We
are seeking candidates to join our Core Ticketing Services
Engineering team who are proactive, self-starters, and have a
proven track record of working collaboratively across an
organization. This team represents the future in many top
strategies and is key to the successful execution of organizational

patterns which directly contribute to our fan's ticket amazing

you.RESPONSIBILITIES? Be a hands-on contributor, working with a
distributed team of talented engineers to help build our
next-generation ticketing systems.? Work on key product initiatives
that power our core ticketing platforms, deliver
business-criticalsoftware running on AWS and Kubernetes-based cloud
infrastructure.? Deliver clear, pragmatic solutions with
applicability to meet immediate and future business needs.? Deliver
durable, thoughtful, high-quality software that will thrive in a
high-scale Productionenvironment? Assist team in achieving high
degrees of automation using well-established DevOps and
Agilepractices.? Ensure that technical and quality standards are
enforced throughout the software developmentlifecycle.? Design and
Develop API and Streaming data applications built with Java, Kafka,
Cassandra, Redis, and more? Build/Test/Deploy with Continuous
Integration and Continuous Delivery using Cucumber, Helm, and
Terraform.REQUIREMENTS? Desire and technical ability to act like an
owner, leader, and "force multiplier" within a defined problem area
and the scope of the team. The ability to "Lead by example" by
contributing directly to the design, development, and support of
your teams' systems/solutions? 3+ Years deep and direct hands-on
experience building high-performing data-centric applications.
Proven ability to deliver artifacts that set the standard within
your organization for engineering excellence, from designs to
algorithms to implementations.? Broad exposure and experience ino
API-driven Development and Systems Designo Enterprise-level scale
and complexityo Fully automated QA (TDD, BDD, Performance,
Security, Integration/Compatibility, Regression,and Functional
Testing)o Engineering Best-Practices, Engineering workflow
optimization and integration,Designing/Developing in a "Cloud-based
environment".? Deep understanding of and adherence to rigorous
engineering and development processes and "Best. Practices",
