Oracle - NetSuite is seeking a JavaScript Software Engineer to
develop commerce web applications.
We own the software design of our product, bringing questions and
ideas to the table and analyzing them. We develop greenfield code
for new applications as well as maintain a powerful legacy
codebase. We become specialists in our business domain and take the
time to deeply understand our customers' goals. This role will be
implementing designs for our suite of products focused on acquiring
and growing our customers. We build products that help clients run
international businesses, which comes with the challenges of
targeting global markets. You can be a part of the team that solves
those challenges. This role is for someone who wants to be involved
with all phases of the development process: specification, design,
implementation, testing, and maintenance. We need you to be
passionate about clean code, test quality, and SOLID
principles.

Duties of the Role
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
Mastery of HTML5 and CSS3
5+ years of experience with JavaScript, including React and
Next.js
Working understanding of modern web applications from browser to
database.
Excellent communicator in both technical and non-technical
contexts.
Desire to delight the customer by taking initiative,
responsibility, and ownership of your projects.
Fundamental awareness of usability.
Knowledge of asynchronous design patterns
See technical requirements and solutions when given
business-oriented user stories
Show interest to continuously improving technical skills
Contribute to code reviews and promote good coding practices within
the team
Preferred applicants will have:
Proficiency with Java, C#, or C++ Experience with relational
databases
Experience with Agile and Scrum
Responsibilities
As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist
in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the
developing, debugging or designing of software applications or
operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software
developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to
existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

US: Hiring Range: from $74,800 to $178,200 per annum. May be
eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to
account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market
conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing
products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the
preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible

three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years
of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working
between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20
hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each
year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
