Advanced Software Engineer - SDA Scottsdale, AZ Contract Position Senior Advanced Software Engineer job in Scottsdale, Arizona is available with Moseley Technical Services Top Space Company. In this job you will Develop and deploy the state-of-the-art ground operational system . Responsibilities: * Develop and deploy the state-of-the-art ground operational system.
* Work beyond the bounds of their own organization to collaborate and influence others.
* Perform requirements analysis, requirements definition, requirements management, functional analysis, performance analysis, system design, detail trade studies, systems integration and test (verification), validation and interface definition studies of subsystem or system elements under supervision of the lead systems engineer.
* Perform technical planning, cost and risk analyses, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for subsystems and system elements.
* Perform customer requirements analysis, develops system requirements and defines allocations to lower levels (elements and components).
* Perform detailed technical analyses for a subsystem or system elements.
* Develop and evaluate systems, networks and information systems to ensure designs meet applicable governmental security specifications.
* May provide system accreditation/certification evaluation and test support to ensure all technical security features (e.g., identification, authentication, access control, labeling, and auditing) of the system are considered and function properly.
* Participate in Modeling and Simulation.
* Research and analyze data, such as vendor products, components, GFE/CFE, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application.
* Support the generation of technical engineering products by using the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system development life cycle.
* Contribute to the completion of major programs and projects.
* Define processes for technical platforms, system specifications, input/output and working parameters for hardware and/or software compatibility.
* Design a complete and complex framework, system or product.
* Identify, analyze and resolve system design weaknesses.
* Regular contact with senior levels of internal working groups.
* Contact with Deputy Program Managers Engineering (DPME) and other professionals within the Engineering department and with project teams across the company. Qualifications: * U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain Secret security clearance.
* Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics and 5+ years of experience, or a Master's degree and 3+ years of experience. * DevSecOps experience with some of the following platform/tools:
* AWS * GitLab * Kubernetes * Docker * Jenkins * Ansible * Terraform * Creative, innovative responsibilities requiring advanced decision-making skills.
* Extensive communication skills for interaction with executive leadership on items of significant importance (remediation, risk mgt., regulatory compliance, etc.).
* Extensive ability to present in clear and certain terms.
* Subject matter expert in multiple fields.
* CI/CD pipeline development.
* Test automation.
* Missile Warning/Missile Tracking system integration, test, operations experience.
