We are a growing Personal Injury law firm that is seeking a motivated and dedicated Associate Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a law school graduate with a passion for Personal Injury law and a strong desire to learn and grow within the field. The Associate Attorney will work alongside our senior attorneys on a variety of cases and will be given the opportunity to take on increasing levels of responsibility as they gain experience. We need an Associate Attorney with experience in personal injury litigation and 0-3 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be able to take initiative on work that needs to be done and complete tasks with minimal hand-holding. They must be a leader and help elevate those around them.

Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for important work, including:
--- Researching and analyzing the law on complex issues and writing briefs and motions
--- Conducting in-depth depositions, mediation, and arbitrations
--- Negotiating with outside parties on legal disputes, including settlement conferences
--- Anticipating and mitigating potential legal problems within the law firm or for a client
--- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
--- Assist senior attorneys with all aspects of trial preparation, including conducting depositions, preparing witnesses, and organizing trial exhibits
--- Attend court hearings and depositions with senior attorneys
--- Communicate with clients and opposing counsel
--- Participate in settlement negotiations and mediations

Qualifications:
--- J.D. from an accredited law school
--- Admission to the State Bar of Arizona (Admitted to New Mexico is a plus)
--- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
--- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team
--- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload
--- Passion for personal injury law and a desire to learn and grow within the field Juris Doctorate
--- Bilingual in Spanish is not required, but it is a bonus
--- 0 - 3 years of Pre Litigation and Litigation Experience
