We handle cases in Coconino, Gila, Maricopa, Navajo and Yavapai Counties. Lloyd Law Group is looking for an experienced paralegal for medical malpractice/nursing home, wrongful death, and personal injury cases. Must be able to manage a full case load and assist attorneys with case management, pleadings, scheduling, and manage deadlines. Must be highly organized and be able to handle pressure well. An ideal candidate is a detail oriented paralegal with experience in Trial Litigation, who has a clear understanding of the procedures and understands the importance of deadlines. Full-time, in-office position, experience is REQUIRED. Responsibilities: Review and draft routine legal documents Create and maintain case files Facilitate the meeting of attorney's deadlines by keeping organized schedules and providing timely reminders Conduct legal research Coordinate meetings and travel arrangements Facilitate the meeting of deadlines by keeping multiple agendas and provide timely reminders. Must be able to manage a full case load and assist Attorney's with case management. Travel will be necessary periodically for trials and out-of-town hearings. Qualifications: Experience as a legal secretary, assistant or paralegal with trial experience. Previous Medical Malpractice experience. Able to multi-task and work within a fast-paced environment while remaining flexible and manage changing priorities. Willingness to learn and ability to follow instructions quickly is necessary. Proficient in Word, Word Perfect, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat. Salary will be based on experience. Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 1 - 3 years Bonus/Commission: Yes
