Production Analyst is a technical role that requires strong
collaboration, communication, and technical skills. The Production
Analyst will work across different software to evaluate orders,
plan demand, and report plans to executive leadership for AirLife’s
Phoenix Distribution Center, our largest owned Distribution Center.
The Analyst will be responsible for partnering with the Operational
Excellence team in the facility. They will identify barriers to
maximizing production, lead Kaizen events, and complete projects to
eliminate those barriers. This is an opportunity for an ambitious,
technically proficient professional to further develop their
production planning skills and use their strong personal skills to
promote efficient distribution of life-saving medical devices.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: WMS
experience required. Salespad experience required. ERP system
experience required, experience with Koerber preferred.
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex warehouse problems and
solutions to diverse audiences, specifically warehouse teams,
corporate executive leadership, and other internal customers. Lean
Six Sigma experience required. Kaizen leadership experience
preferred. Microsoft Suite experience required. Demonstrated
ability communicate in a timely manner in person and online.
Experience using generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft
Copilot, etc.) to enhance productivity, automate routine tasks, and
improve quality of work output preferred. Level of Experience: 4-6
years combined warehouse and experience in a technical,
computer-based distribution or supply chain role. Level of
Education: Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required.
Bachelor’s degree preferred. Travel: As the business needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Review order backlog and
prioritize based on shipping deadlines, customer SLAs, and order
types. Group and release picking waves using WMS or planning tools.
Analyze historical data for demand planning and adjust planning by
customer needs. Leverage technical expertise to initiate
operational excellence projects. Collaborate with warehouse
supervisors to institute new processes and document them properly.
Schedule order releases to balance workload across shifts.
Prioritize orders by customer SLAs, and carrier pick-up windows.
Coordinate with warehouse supervisors to allocate labor based on
order volume. Monitor real-time order progress and adjust plans as
needed. Re-prioritize or split orders as needed due to constraints
(e.g., inventory, labor). Ensure waves are balanced by zone,
carrier, and workload Schedule and monitor picking, packing, and
staging activities. Coordinate with leaders in production to ensure
planning adherence. Make changes in WMS and Salespad as needed to
execute weekly plan. Manage several excel worksheets to keep track
or orders fulfilled vs plan. Monitor key metrics like order fill
rate and wave completion. Report plan execution to executive
