As a Bus Driver, you will play a critical role in safely operating buses for our diverse range of transit services including bus, rail, and shuttle systems, ensuring passengers reach their destinations safely and on time. Operate buses and other transit vehicles following a set schedule and route. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring special assistance to disabled passengers as needed. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure proper operating condition. Adhere to all traffic and company regulations and rules. Maintain a clean and safe vehicle. Communicate clearly with passengers, dispatchers, and the transportation team. Collect fares and issue change and receipts as necessary. Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to a dispatcher or management. Strong driving record and ability to operate large vehicles. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Physical fitness and ability to assist passengers. Basic mechanical knowledge to manage minor repairs. Ability to handle money and operate fare box. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger Endorsement. Completion of a DOT physical examination. Previous safety training or certification can be an advantage.
