Job Description:

The Material Handling Specialist is responsible for all aspects of warehouse functions including the receiving, storing, handling, shipping and preparing of product for customer delivery while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion. --Primary functions will be receiving and shipping, material put-away, replenishment, and preparing orders for shipment. Duties and Responsibilities: Verify and receive inbound shipments Slot materials into warehouse bins Complete warehouse movements from bin to bin and bin to pick location Prep orders for outbound shipment Able to assemble, package, and ship orders. Continuously looks for ways to improve the organization. -- Anticipates and recognizes potential problems and generates alternatives for problem resolution Overcomes obstacles to meet and/or exceed goals and objectives Takes action beyond what is necessarily called for by being self-reliant, enterprising and resourceful. Respectfully expresses comments, concerns and recommendations, both verbally and in writing/email. Is receptive to feedback and constructive criticism and offers feedback effectively to others. Demonstrates open mindedness and responds well to change. Education and Experience: 3 years experience working in the field of material handling or warehousing Forklift certified preferred -- Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Ability to use Forklift and reach truck -- -- -- --Ability to follow directions -- -- -- --Ability to read, write and speak English. -- -- -- --Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. -- -- -- Ability to stand all day -- -- -- Attentive to details -- -- -- Great Attitude!
