We’re out to make the world a safer place by solving big
problems and taking on the public safety challenges of our time.
From our company's inception building the TASER device to a full
suite of hardware and software solutions, we are focused on
providing police agencies with the state-of-the-art devices and
services they need to successfully serve and protect us. In the
next few years, we're going to eliminate the burden of paperwork in
policing, so officers can increase the time they spend building
relationships and serving in their communities. We’ll put video at
the heart of the police record so our justice system can get to the

The Director of Process Improvement will develop, monitor, and
elevate the performance of the global operations team vital
business systems, processes, and coordination with key stakeholders
around the org as this individual prepares us for 10X growth!
Ongoing system development is the key to continuous learning,
growth, and improvement of our teams and organizations.
In pursuit of excellence, you will evaluate current business
practices, looking for ways to improve productivity and customer
service (internal and external), reduce costs, and make the best
use of company resources.
Ideally, you are something of a “business engineer.” You are
both logical and creative, able to identify and diagnose problems
and find low-cost and innovative solutions. As you implement
effective systems and processes, you will stand out in a
competitive marketplace, give internal customers an outstanding
cross functional experience, and improve operational quality and
efficiency for exceptional execution of our missions.
You ask, “What problems do we need to address? What parts of our
organization could improve? What obstacles do we need to overcome?
What invisible termites are eating away at our customer loyalty or
profit? Any core business activity that is falling short of its
purpose or goals is a problem to be solved.
You are a change agent, you bring people along and you make
things happen! In line with this, you chose the system-improvement
projects that are highest impact to implement, or have the greatest
financial impact, that support company goals, that will remove a
weak-link, bottleneck, or frustration from business operations.
Then target a completion date and get buy-in, and execute
relentlessly. Focus + prioritization = fast results.
Your Day to Day The director of process improvement is on the
move, working with others to elevate business operations.
This individual does not try to solve every problem
independently, but becomes immersed in business processes, observes
what is working and what is not, learns from those who have
hands-on knowledge, and considers what improvements would yield
better results. Results are what matter and you chart the path,
create the vision, and then take us there!
