The Change Management Lead plays an essential role in the
development, delivery and integration of change management
principles within BGRS. Partnering with the Director and SVP of
Human Resources, this role will lead the creation, development and
growth of the Change Management practice so that is
organizationally fit, agile and sustainable. Will also be
responsible to establish critical processes and protocol with the
Project Management Office to effectively integrate change
management into all projects that impact people, and partner with
senior HR team members to help to create the overall change
management strategy for digital transformation.
The Change Management Lead will also guide and execute upon
change management activities by looking across organizational
projects to assess business processes, systems, and technologies,
understand people impact and then create succinct change plans
partnering across functions to ensure a successful change journey.
This role works closely with leaders and other stakeholder to
ensure change and impacts are understood, gaps have been identified
and actionable implementation plans have been defined. Supports
project initiatives by creating and delivering strategies to
maximize employee adoption to change, helping to create value and
understanding of the “what, why and how.”
This is a 1 year full-time temporary or contract position.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead the development of a sustainable change management practice
for BGRS, leveraging change management methodologies and best
Collaborate with senior HR colleagues to incorporate the change
management practice into the Global Human Capital function
Work with Project Managers, Business Leads and project teams to
review and assess the desired goals and objectives of the projects
and ensure organizational change impact is accounted for in the
planning process and corresponding activities are incorporated into
the overall project plan for each project.
Implement robust change plans for people change impacts
primarily on large scale, high impact projects, partnering across
departments to support implementation activities as necessary for
Identify and/or recommend actions and activities to drive faster
adoption, greater utilization and higher proficiency on the changes
Develop, lead and manage actionable deliverables as part of
change management workstream on key projects, including change
impact and readiness assessments, risk mitigation, readiness
solutions, communications and training as required to support
employee adoption of change as a component of a project. Ensures
smooth transitions with minimal business disruptions.
Lead/facilitate impact analysis meetings with teams to ensure an
understanding of the current concerns, areas of resistance, and
change readiness, and jointly develop a change adoption plan.
Integrate and manage change management activities in the project
Lead the existing network of Change Champions to better leverage
their talents, drive engagement, and utilize the team as a critical
support mechanism in the employee adoption of organizational
initiatives and program or project related changes.
Liaise and coordinate desired change adoption outcomes with
Identify and manage anticipated resistance to change.
Problem solve by offering alternatives and different approaches
to engagement and adoption challenges.
Closely partner with Human Resources, Learning & Development and
Marketing & Communications as key stakeholders in change
initiatives. Assists with preparing internal communications.
What You Bring to BGRS
Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Development, Organizational
Behavior, Human Resources or other related field
8+ years of dedicated, demonstrated experience in organizational
change management program design and implementation, with a focus
on medium to large projects
Experience in large, complex, multi-year business and digital
Ability and experience in assessing the degree of change and
determining the appropriate level of change management required for
Prosci certification or other Change Management certificate
High proficiency in Microsoft suite of applications (Office, MS
Deep knowledge, understanding and experience in organizational
change management principles and methodologies
Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills with an ability
to build and maintain strong relationships as well as function
effectively as part of a global team, in a matrix organization,
working with both internal stakeholders and third-party
Strong, concise communication skills with experience creating
content for a variety of audiences.
Creative and willingly brings solutions and innovative ideas
