A Day in the Life as a Corporate Counsel You review,
markup/draft and negotiate customer andcommercial contracts,
including master services agreements, statements of work,licenses,
RFP responses and support documents across WNE`s businesses. In
thisfast paced environment, you provide rapid, practical,
business-orientedlegal/commercial contract advice directly to
business unit teams. You applyyour innovative problem-solving
skills and business judgment to manage risk andfoster long-term
relationships. You work as a valued member of our small Legalteam,
collaborating with team members and stakeholders throughout
Qualifications -Juris Doctorate (JD) from U.S. law school and
-Current admission to the Arizona bar.
-Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in a law firm or corporate
-Prior experience in EdTech, government procurement or a
high-volumecontracting environment and/or familiarity with student
data and educationalprivacy laws a plus.
-Ability to draft, review and revise commercial agreements with
minimalsupport from senior staff.
-Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, including
ability to workeffectively within a distributed team and a
fast-paced business environment.
-Demonstrated ability to think and decide quickly, and to
communicatelegal issues and solutions clearly and concisely.
-Self-starter with strong organizational and time management
skills,self-directed and able to handle multiple priorities with
