As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in assisting PillPack customers by aiding in the refill and denial process of prescriptions. Successful candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug test. "Employees will be on-site for training during their 1st two weeks. Upon completion of training, all new colleagues will work from home. In order to do so, you will be required to have access to a reliable broadband internet connection, either through DSL, cable, or fiber-to- home (FiOS or Fiber Optic) with a minimum internet speed requirement of 10 mbps download and 5 mbps upload contracted speed, ability to connect to the PillPack network via a hardwired internet connection, not via WIFI, a separate room or part of a room for your home work area that is private and free of distractions (i.e. barking dogs, television noise, music, children, etc.) and is able to devote full attention to the PillPack customer during work hours. Core Responsibilities: * Communicate with patients by telephone and take refill requests from patients * Transfer calls from providers to the pharmacist when necessary * Request the transfer of existing customer prescriptions into PillPack's pharmacies * Transcribe verbal prescriptions from external pharmacies * Manage daily logs and collaborate with team to prioritize workload * Work with the ongoing support team to enter appropriate drug, drug dose, time, instructions and prescriber information into the pharmacy filling system * Communicate with providers to obtain new prescriptions and follow up on patient-related inquiries Basic Qualifications: * High school or equivalent diploma * Arizona State Board of Pharmacy License in good standing (This includes Pharmacy Technician, Trainee, and Assistant Licenses) * National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA) * 6+ months of customer service experience * 6+ months of experience working with computer and web based tools * Experience navigating and troubleshooting the internet * Experience multitasking with phone and computer skills * Experience recognizing and identifying patient medications Preferred Qualifications: * 1+ year of relevant phone or email customer service experience * Excellent communication skills (spoken and written) * Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member * Strong organization skills and attention to detail * Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced work environment while consistently meeting standards for produc
