An industry-leading company of integrity, service dedication and innovation since it was founded in 1952, Marsden has succeeded by dedicating itself to providing customers with an ever-expanding array of cost-effective, superior-quality commercial property services.Job Skills / RequirementsOverall Goal: Maintains all floor areas and sustains high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.Core Functional Responsibilities: Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.Following safety guidelines, moves furniture before and after as needed when cleaning a floor.Measure, label, and use chemicals following proper procedures and adhering to safety protocol.Use automated equipment for cleaning large floor surface areas.Clean, maintain, and store equipment and PPE.Report maintenance issues of facility and/or equipment to supervisor.Essential Responsibilities: Commits to behave in compliance with the company's values and Code of Conduct.Builds a culture of work safety and leads by example with one's own safe behavior.Treats co-workers with respect and approaches conflict with positive intent and professionalism.Asks questions to understand why we do what we do and how we do it - champions change when improvements can be made.Skills Preferred: Knowledge of commercial floor care and floor care products.Knowledge of safety practices.Good time management.Ability to work with minimal supervision.Experience Required: 1-3 years commercial cleaning experience and/or floor care.Physical Requirements: Regularly required to walk, stand, use hands, and reach.Occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl.Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.Work Hours: Hours vary and typically occur outside of normal business hours with early morning, evening, and overnight work.
