Job Title: Busser
Department: BOH Operations
Reports To: Restaurant Manager/General Manager
Bussers clean tables, taking plates, utensils and drinkware to
the kitchen to be washed, make sure diners' water glasses are full,
and reset tables for the next service. Bussers might help Servers
and Expos bring food out to a table, restock utensils, napkins and
other dining room needs.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the front-of-house
including all tables, chairs, floors, windows, and restrooms.
Quickly clears dirty tables and resets according to Square One
Brings additional food items, condiments, or beverages when
needed or upon request until guest is satisfied as needed to assist
Restocks dining room with plates, silverware, glassware,
utensils, condiments and napkins, and maintains adequate supplies
in the work stations.
Returns and sorts dirty dishes, silverware, glassware, and
utensils to dishwashing area.
Assists with the duties of servers or hosts as needed;
pre-bussing tables, refilling beverages, or rolling silverware.
Maintains specific side-work and ensure total cleanliness and
smooth operation of the restaurant.
Follows management's instructions and suggestions.
Reports to work in a neat and clean uniform according to Square
One Concepts policy.
Maintains personal health and sanitation standards.
Provides friendly good-bye to every guest leaving the

Reaches, bends, lifts, shakes, stirs, pours, carries, pushes and
Possesses ability to frequently lift and carry bus tubs, trays,
and other objects weighing 25 pounds or more.
Hazards may include, but are not limited to: cuts from knives,
slipping, tripping, falls and burns.
Able to work in various temperature settings including, but not
limited to Walk-in Freezers and Outdoor Patios.

Must be able to work in well-lit or dimly lit areas. Must be
able to work in moderately to extremely noisy areas. Must be able
to work in various temperature settings or areas, such as
temperature-controlled walk-in freezers, indoor areas exposed to
outdoor weather conditions, or outdoor areas. Possess the ability
to work in a fast-paced environment.
High School graduate or equivalent preferred. Previous busser
and/or expo experience a plus, but not required.
Professional maturity: The ability to separate emotional
feelings from the real issues at hand.
Responsibility: The ability to meet commitments made to yourself

delivering feedback to others.

Must be 16 years of age or older.
Must possess and maintain a valid Food HandlersCertificate.
- Obtain any required alcohol service licensing requirements in
ordinance with state liquor laws.
40 hours of PTO annually for all hourly employees.
